Support and Resistance
Support is a price level where falling prices tend to stop, because buyers are waiting there. Resistance is a level where rising prices tend to stall, because sellers are waiting there — often a prior high. A wall of resting buy orders can act as support, and a level price has failed to break several times becomes clear resistance.
Support and Resistance in my real trades
Oct 29, 2026 (Thu) | Moving the take-profit up one tick
A take-profit order parked on a level with a large buy wall often never gets filled, because price bounces before reaching it. Moving it up one tick puts it just above the wall, so price reaches my order first. With the OTC index consolidating and a V-turn possible at any time, it was no moment to be greedy.

Oct 29, 2026 (Thu) | Short #2: resistance at the prior high
The prior bounce high acts as resistance. When price returned there, the buy orders kept thinning, and after a sell order hit, I judged it couldn't break through and shorted again.

Oct 29, 2026 (Thu) | Squeezed in two waves
Right after entering, big buy orders pushed price up: a small first wave, then a stronger second wave that ran up to just under VWAP. I stayed put and followed my rules: there was resistance above VWAP, so going higher would not be easy.

Oct 29, 2026 (Thu) | Rejected at VWAP: repeated M tops
Buyers kept trying to push higher, but every touch of VWAP was rejected — someone was defending that level. Several failed tops in a row made the resistance clear.
